DeLand Antiques and Vintage Show

The DeLand Antiques and Vintage Show was a bright spot in a chilly weekend. Marilyn Monroe crooned through the sound system as we looked over jewelry, books, coins, postcards and more at the Volusia County Fairgrounds.

I fell in love with a brass airplane brooch and a turn of the century emerald ring with delicate filigree. The dealer says it was a Columbian emerald... So the $500 price tag was not in my price rang. I feel like there was more jewelry than anything, so I did find some earrings. They now join my family of clip-on collectibles. Snagged both for $15 total.

Neither are stamped, but I love the shape and colors of both. Can't wait to wear them.
