Valentine's Mashed Potatoes... The morning after

Maybe you had too much wine on Valentine's Day and need to soak up the remnants. Or like us....made a recipe of garlic mashed that served 8. I love making latkes, so mashed potato cakes was a natural breakfast choice. 
Form parties, and coat in flour, egg and Italian breadcrumbs... Then pan sear in a spritz of Pam or butter. I forgot to take an after photo because we devoured them! 

We had some leftover steak, so we enjoyed our tater cakes with leftover ribeye and 1 egg each. This is the perfect place to say my husband has lost 20 pounds, and I 10. And we still eat like this. Keep your shakes and juices! in our house we will eat potatoes. And go for an hour walk today:)
