If you've ever lusted after a sparkling rhinestone necklace or baby-pink peep-toe pumps, I hope you like what you read and see here. Vintage and pin-up style has crept into my wardrobe, jewelery box and dining room. I'd like to share some of my favorite retro-finds and prized possessions with all of you lovers of times-gone-by. I'd also like to share my triumphs and tragedies in the kitchen! More to come later!
Excited to see what's next! Congratulations on your new job and blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you Heather! Lots of love to your adorable family.
ReplyDeleteI love the font and the colors of this blog. I enjoy even more your peppy and upbeat writing style. A vintage cheerleader perhaps? NO, that sounds like an old broken down, bones a hurtin', woman. You are a young Vintage Belle, yes indeedy!
ReplyDeleteI was watching Simply Ming and saw how he used a mini mandoline to slice his garlic. Since my knife skills are limited I used my normal size mandoline with the round plastic pusher and the garlic came out paper thin and perfect and I still have all of my finger tips. If it sounds too scary buy elephant garlic and slide slowly. Elephant garlic can be found with the normal size garlic. Buy garlic only from the U.S. not from China! Did you know you are not to refrigerate your onions and garlic?
